Your account and your data

Rawbit Games, LLC · Idle Stars · Español

1. How your account works

Idle Stars has no sign-up. The first time the game enters the online universe it creates a guest account on your phone: a random identifier and a secret the game stores and uses to log in. You only choose a commander name. That account is what keeps your empire on our server.

Your recovery code. Under Empire → Ranking the game shows you a code. Write it down somewhere safe: it is the only way back to your account if you change phones, reinstall the game or clear its data. Nobody else has that code and we cannot create another one for you without it.

2. Recovering the account on another device

  1. Install Idle Stars on the new device.
  2. Go to Empire → Ranking and choose Recover an account.
  3. Type the recovery code. Your empire, your alliance and your Stellar Legacy are back.

3. Deleting the account from the game

  1. Open Empire → Ranking.
  2. Tap Delete my account and confirm.
  3. The account disappears immediately: your empire, planets, fleets, reports, your place in the alliance and your defense book (stardust, Stellar Legacy, upgrades). There is no way back.

4. Requesting deletion by email (without the game installed)

If you no longer have the game, or you prefer it this way, write to with the subject "Delete my Idle Stars account" and tell us:

We reply and delete the account within 30 days. If you cannot give us the code, we will ask you a few questions about the account so that we do not delete someone else's.

5. What is deleted and what remains

DeletedRemains
The guest account and its keys; the whole empire (planets, buildings, research, ships, fleets, reports, market, hired commanders); the alliance membership; the idle defense book (stardust, Stellar Legacy, upgrades, modules); dark matter, boosts and entitlements; the IP address of the last connection; the purchase records linked to the account. Your battles in the public chronicle, without your name ("retired commander"); the data that lives only on your phone (the idle defense game) until you uninstall the game; the server's encrypted backups, for at most 30 days (never used to restore deleted accounts); the purchase data on Google Play, managed by Google.

Purchases are not refunded for deleting the account: the refund policy is Google Play's.

6. Requesting or correcting your data

At the same address you can request a copy of your account's data, which we will send as a JSON file, or ask us to correct your commander name. More details in the privacy policy.
