Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of the game Idle Stars ("the game"), its online universe and this website, offered by Rawbit Games, LLC ("we"). By installing the game or entering the universe you accept them. If you do not agree with them, do not use the game.
1. The game and your account
- The game is free and requires no sign-up. To play online it creates a guest account on your device, with a recovery code you can see under Empire → Ranking. Keep it: it is the only way to recover the account if you change phones or clear the game's data. We cannot return an account to someone who does not have its code.
- You can delete your account at any time from the game or by asking us (your account and your data). It is final.
- You must be at least 13 years old to play.
2. Rules of the universe
The online universe is a strategy game shared with other people. To keep it fair for everyone:
- Using modified clients, tampering with the numbers the game reports to the server, automating the game with programs or exploiting bugs is not allowed. The server checks what it receives and may trim what does not add up, record it and, if it happens again, block the account.
- Commander, planet and alliance names, and alliance circulars, are seen by other players. They must not be offensive, impersonate other people or contain personal data. We may change them or block the account without notice.
- Attacking, spying on and raiding other commanders is part of the game, within its rules (newbie protection, daily attack limit). Harassing other people outside the game is not.
- We may moderate, suspend or delete accounts that break these rules or harm the service.
3. Purchases, ads and virtual items
- Purchases are made through Google Play and are governed by its terms and refund policy. Our server delivers them once Google confirms the payment.
- Dark matter, boosts and any other item in the game are virtual content with no value outside the game: they cannot be exchanged for money or transferred. They are lost if the account is deleted.
- We may cancel fraudulent or charged-back purchases and withdraw what they delivered.
- Rewarded ads are optional.
4. Availability and changes
- The online universe is in testing: it may have outages, change its rules and, before the final release, be fully reset. We will announce it on the app's store page.
- We may change, balance or remove parts of the game, and update these terms. If the change is important, we will say so in the game or on this website. Continuing to play afterwards means accepting it.
- If we stop offering the online universe, we will announce it with reasonable notice. The idle defense keeps working offline.
5. Intellectual property
The game, its name, art, texts, music and code belong to Rawbit Games, LLC or its licensors (the fonts are used under the Open Font License). We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and revocable licence to play. What you create inside the game (names, circulars) remains yours, but you allow us to show it in the game and on this website while your account exists.
6. Liability
The game is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability or of being free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, accounts or virtual items, nor for indirect damages. Nothing above limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer.
